Répétition Classique SE 2012
The German watch manufacturer NIVREL made a name for itself especially with its collection of 5-minute repeater watches. The horological repeater belongs to the most complicated watches on the market, due to the high complexity. From the front side you can only see little of the complexity, as the watch’s additional skills are not visible, but audible. The term ‘repeater’ in the world of watches refers to a time piece that is able to play a repeated acoustic memory signal. The technique of the repeater movement comes from a time without electricity and was already described and admired by authors in the 18th and 19th Century, such as the famous German Karl May.
In 2012, NIVREL celebrates the 300th anniversary of the 5-minute repeater by introducing a special limited edition of the NIVREL repeater model. Next to its classic beauty and the limitation to 100 pieces, the extraordinary fact about this repeater is its unbeatable price. With 3.990, - € it is even below the price of the standard model!

Deep Ocean GMT
The most successful model of NIVREL watches in recent years, however, was a mechanical diving watch. The models of the new Deep Ocean series were introduced in 2011 and since then have been the most demanded NIVREL products. At Baslworld 2012 NIVREL presented a third model within the Deep Ocean collection. The new Deep Ocean GMT shows a distinctive dial design, brings along all the technical features known from its predecessors and extends the functional range of the Deep Ocean to a model which will display a second and third time zone. A red hand with an arrow-shaped tip as well as a 24-hour display on the bezel provide for a completely new design accent!

Horaire Automatique Rote 12
A classic returns back into the NIVREL collection, the Horaire Automatique Red 12. NIVREL’s entry-level model had been facelifted in 2011. In 2012, NIVREL introduces an additional dial version, one that had been very popular in previous collections.
The 2011 facelift of the model in 2011 has been received very well on the market and has been acknowledged in the press for its good price performance ratio. The new 2012 Horaire Automatique Red 12 expands the model to a further dial version, certainly one of the most favored dial versions among the NIVREL audience in general.

Pièce Unique Repetition Annuelle 2012 (The Crystal Dragon)
According to the Chinese calendar, 2012 is the Year of the Dragon. The dragon is one of 12 zodiac signs in the calendar, which play an outstanding symbolic importance in most parts of Asia. For 2012, NIVREL has added a new jewelry watch with a dragon motive to its so-called ‘Pièce Unique’ edition: The Répétition Annuelle Crystal Dragon. As always, NIVREL chose a new, unusual way to produce a very unique dial: The dragon motive is hand-carved and hand-painted into a rock crystal dial.
As the carrier for the jewelry NIVREL again has chosen the company’s 5-minute repeater watch. In order to accomplish this combination complex movement customizations have to be performed. These working steps are carried out in close cooperation between the watchmakers and the engraving specialists.
