For a good Cause: A unique NIVREL for Franziska van Almsick

At the annual party of the Top Saarland magazine NIVREL and the Kraemer jewelry store donated a valuable and unique watch for Franziska van Almsick‘s charity initiative "... for Children." The multiple World and European champion and winner of many Olympic medals supports children from needy families with her initiative.

Many smiling faces on the stage - and a giant cheque for Franziska van Almsick. That was the result of the Top Saarland Party 2012 and its charity event in St. Ingbert / Germany. Top Saarland publisher Elke Schumann was proud to hand over a cheque of € 12,735,- to swimming legend Franziska van Almsick. The money will be spent for Franziska’s charity association "... for Children". This initiative focuses on ensuring that children from poor families will receive swimming lessons. According to the German life-saving society, every third German under 18 is not able to swim. "My hope is that the supported children will be able to swim right after primary school. In order to reach this goal, we finance well-trained teachers”, says Franziska van Almsick.
