Uhrenmagazin: 20 Years NIVREL in the German Saarland region
In issue 12/2012, the German Uhrenmagazin presents NIVREL's new series Coeur de la Sarre on the occasion of 20 years anniversary of NIVREL in the German Saarland region.
NIVREL's 'Watchmaker's Day' at the Kraemer jewelry store
On 23 and 30 November, readers of Saarbruecken's daily newspaper 'Saarbruecker Zeitung' were invited to visit the Kraemer jewelry store and to witness first-hand how a NIVREL watch is built. The event was a result of the campaign "Made in Saarland" in which Saarbrücken’s newspaper reports about companies from the region.
The german Flieger-Magazin reported in its November 2012 edition about the UHRTOUR 2012. 12 hobby pilots travelled together in in six ultralight machines to visit various watch manufacturers in Germany. NIVREL was part of that idea.
Anniversary model '20 years NIVREL in Germany': Coeur de la Sarre
Gerd Hofer, fourth generation of the jewellery entrepreneur family Kraemer/Hofer from Saarbrücken/Germany aquired the Swiss watch brand NIVREL in 1993, together with his wife Gitta. In 2013, NIVREL will celebrate the 20th anniversary of NIVREL being a German brand. The corresponding anniversary watch model will bear the name Coeur de la Sarre.
In recent years, NIVREL had already picked up the art of stone engraving in order to create jewelry dials for the Edition Pièce Unique. So far, these motives were performed as relief engravings, so-called ‘Cameo’. This year NIVREL uses an engraving style called ‘Intaglio’, a very deep engraving. Earlier this year, we have presented the Répétition Annuelle Crystal Dragon. In the following we show the making of a customer watch with a Russian icon.
After the new models of 2012 have been presented in March during BASELWORLD 2012, NIVREL is announcing further exhibition dates at the international fairs. We are looking forward to welcome you!

NIVREL once again sponsor of the TOP Saarland Party 2012
In the current edition Top Saarland magazone reported extensively on the first prize, donated by NIVREL. As in the past year a NIVREL watch was the first prize of the charity auction at the Top Saarland party.
On 15 March 2012, BASELWORLD 2012 - the world's largest trade fair for watches and jewelery - closed its doors after eight successful days. Germany's watch manufacturer NIVREL presented its latest products as well and was very pleased with the course of business. All new products can now be explored on www.nivrel.com.
Gemstone Engraving: A hand-engraved rock crystal (dragon motive)
The basic idea of our Pièce Unique watches is the creation of a piece of jewelry with the various possibilities offered by the craftsmenship of a watchmaker and a goldsmith. Each year, NIVREL presents a new motive for the Pièce Unique collection. For 2011/2012 the series is supplemented by a dragon that was is engraved into a rock crystal.
For a good Cause: A unique NIVREL for Franziska van Almsick
At the annual party of the Top Saarland magazine NIVREL and the Kraemer jewelry store donated a valuable and unique watch for Franziska van Almsick‘s charity initiative "... for Children." The multiple World and European champion and winner of many Olympic medals supports children from needy families with her initiative.

After the huge success of the 2011 Deep Ocean models, NIVREL presents a third model in 2012.The new Deep Ocean GMT shows a distinctive dial design, brings along all the technical features known from its predecessors and extends the functional range of the Deep Ocean to a model which will display a second and third time zone.
The X47 Horaire 2012: A product made by X47 and NIVREL
X47 a manufacturer of high quality leather calendars and NIVREL, manufacturer of high quality timepieces introduce a new joint product for the new year 2012: a weekly calendar booklet for organizers made by X47, where the time is displayed on a round dial. The calendar has the face of a watch and is joined by an original X47 wrist watch produced by NIVREL.
NIVREL begins the New Year with the introduction of a new version of the website under www.nivrel.com. The new website builds on the previous implementation, but has been improved in many areas.
