The Héritage is the symbol for the new beginning of NIVREL in Saarbrücken / Germany in 1993. In the first years, owner Gerd Hofer designed different models that all followed the same basic pattern and design. All of them share for example the same straight case, lugs, the Clous-de-Paris pattern on the dial as well as the blued steel hands.
Even today the Héritage models have an important significance within the NIVREL collection. While the Héritage Automatique and the Héritage Feminin are plain, very precious three-hand watches, the Héritage Chronographe and the Héritage Squelette are true eye-catchers due to their complications and skelettonizations.
The name of the two models Héritage Chrono La Grande Date and Héritage Bijoux La Grande Date hints to the function of both watches as they have a twin-disc outsize date. The Héritage Calendar convinces with its various calendar complications. And a special treat is the Héritage Alarm. It provides a mechanical alarm function on the basis of a movement from earlier days: the caliber AS 5008.
